There are lots of local artistic and fun events planned throughout the
summer, come along and enjoy the events!
Wednesday 11th April
Dam Open Day
A chance for you to go into Pen y Garreg Dam and up to the central tower. Our team of Rangers will be on hand to direct people and answer any questions. Park at Penbont car park and take a walk through the woodland, up the steps to the Dam entrance. Dam open from 1pm to 4pm. Entrance £1 - children free. All proceeds to the charity WaterAid.
Saturday 21st April
Viewpoints - looking at the nature of our district - a Rhayader by Nature field meeting from Dolau Chapel, Nantmel (map ref SO 022664) 2.30 - 4.30 p.m.
Visit easily accessible viewpoints to overlook the landscape of our district in the company of some of the locality's expert observers of nature and countryside ways. Bring a thermos, warm clothing, some plastic to sit on and your camera or sketchbook. Contribution £1.00 For Further Information Tel: 01597 811169

Mid-Wales. First Race 6.45pm. 2nd round of the 2007 Evening Motocross
